A noble fief in the Book of Silver, located on the western coast of Tortall in the coastal hills near Olau. It is a couple days ride from the mountains- just southern enough to farm productively. Seacliff is known for its fine apples and its falconry. Being close to the coast means that is well fortified agains the pirate raids it sees frequently.

Home to Sirri and her family, the fief of Mount Wolfe is located in the forested area close to Corus. It was given to them when they were granted noble status when they moved from the Yamani Isles. Mount Wolfe has a river running adjacent to it and has a wonderful view of the mountains.

| Border Peak
Border peak is placed on the border of Tortall and Scanra. As hinted by it's name the land is placed at the base of a large mountain that is half in Scanra and half in Tortall. Their coat of arms is a mountain made of three swords. One to represent each side and a third to stand for the border between the sides. This land was made into a Feif and given to Lord Edward for his bravery in fighting the Scanrans.

Originally named the Kyprish Isles, once ruled by queens of the Haiming noble house, it is presently ruled by the Rittevon dynasty. The Isles form a slaveholding nation south and west of Tortall. The lowlands are hot, wet jungles; the highlands cold and rocky. Traditionally their ties are to Carthak rather than Tortall. Kyprish pirates often raid along the Tortallan coast. There is a strain of insanity in the Rittevon line. the Rittevons hold a grudge against Tortall.

Country to the north of Tortall. Wild, rocky, and cold, there is little land to be farmed. Scanrans are masters of the sea and are feared anywhere there is a coastline. They also frequently raid over land. A war with Tortall was started in 460 H.E., and ended a few years later, after Scanra proved too weak to overcome Tortall.

| The Yamani Islands
Island nation to the northwest of Tortall and the west of Scanra. It's ruled by an ancient line of emperors, whose claim to their throne comes from the goddess Yama. The country is beautiful and mountainous. It's vulnerability to pirate raids means that most Yamanis, including the women, get some training in combat arts.
